Equipment shows up ready and the work gets done on schedule — no dragging a small job into a long one.
Owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the same one running the machine.
Twenty years of finish that holds up — measured twice, graded clean, walked before we leave.
What we do
One owner-operator, the right machine for the task, and twenty years of knowing what holds up on rural ground.
Straight, solid posts driven to depth — from line posts and rail to heavy gate ends and corners.
Page wire, barbed, and rail fencing built to hold stock and stand up to Okanagan winters.
Safe, well-drained paddocks and turnouts designed around how your horses actually move.
Mainlines, hydrants, troughs, and drainage set to keep fields green and herds watered.
Digging, grading, trenching, and site prep handled cleanly the first time around.
Building pads, driveways, and year-round access carved into even the toughest corner.
Defensible space, fuel reduction, and brush clearing to help protect your property come summer.
Overgrowth, blackberry, and slash cleared and mulched back into manageable ground.
Trenching and installation for power, water, and services — done to spec and backfilled right.
Solid, hand-placed rock walls that hold their ground and frame a property with purpose.

Fuel reduction and defensible space to help protect what you've built.
Year-round access roads built, old structures cleared, material hauled.
The person behind the machine
I'm Bryan Slater — a rancher, an operator, and the one you'll meet on site. After more than twenty years in excavation and utility construction, I started Coast 2 Country to bring that experience home to the growers and landowners of the Okanagan.
As a rancher myself, I understand the demands of rural life: the fence that has to hold, the access road that needs to work in February, the field that needs water before the heat sets in. I bring efficiency, integrity, and quality workmanship to every job — big or small — and offer specialized rates for the agricultural industry to keep your costs manageable.
Whether it's land cleared for construction, a rock wall built to last, or fire mitigation to protect what you've built, I've got the experience and the equipment to get it done right.

What folks are saying
Straight talk from the farms, ranches, and acreages we've worked on across the Okanagan.
Bryan pounded close to 200 posts for our new cross-fencing and every one is dead straight. Showed up when he said he would and left the place cleaner than he found it.
We needed a paddock ready before the horses arrived and Bryan made it happen on a tight timeline. Proper drainage, safe footing — exactly what we asked for.
Had him clear brush and build a defensible space around the house ahead of fire season. Honest quote, no surprises, and the work speaks for itself.
Trenched our waterline and irrigation mainline across a rocky bench nobody else wanted to touch. Fair price for ag work and a pleasure to deal with.
